Uses of Ebast 10 Tablet

Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes); urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions with itching

• •Reduces itching and watery eyes
• •Helps control hives and skin itching
• •Usually causes less sedation than older antihistamines

How it works

Ebastine is a second-generation H1 antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors, reducing allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching and wheals. It is relatively less sedating than older antihistamines in many patients.

Directions for use

Take as prescribed, commonly 10 mg once daily. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Avoid driving if you feel drowsy.

Warnings & precautions

Use caution in liver disease and in patients with known QT prolongation/arrhythmias. Do not exceed prescribed dose. Seek medical advice if palpitations, fainting, or severe allergic symptoms occur.
