Symptomatic relief of common cold and allergic rhinitis symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, watery eyes, headache, fever and body aches.
Cetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors to reduce allergy symptoms like sneezing and runny nose. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that constricts blood vessels in nasal passages to reduce blockage. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.
Take as directed by a physician. Generally taken orally with water, with or without food; preferably after food if stomach upset occurs. Do not exceed the recommended dose and avoid using multiple paracetamol-containing products together.
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, stomach upset, headache, fatigue, palpitations, increased blood pressure
May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in hypertension, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, glaucoma, enlarged prostate/urinary retention, liver disease, and kidney impairment. Do not exceed total daily paracetamol dose (risk of serious liver injury). Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond a few days, high fever persists, or if you have severe sore throat, rash or breathing difficulty.
Alcohol (increases drowsiness and liver risk with paracetamol), other sedatives/CNS depressants, MAO inhibitors (risk of hypertensive crisis with phenylephrine), tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers/antihypertensives, other sympathomimetics/decongestants, other paracetamol-containing medicines
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
