Enalapril Maleate 2.5 mg
Hypertension, heart failure (as prescribed), protection of heart function in certain cardiac conditions
Enalapril inhibits ACE, lowering angiotensin II levels and relaxing blood vessels. This reduces blood pressure and decreases strain on the heart.
Take exactly as directed, usually once daily initially; with or without food. Maintain hydration and rise slowly to reduce dizziness, especially after first dose.

Do not use in pregnancy. Risk of angioedema; seek urgent help for facial/lip/tongue swelling. Monitor kidney function and potassium, especially in elderly, dehydrated patients, or those with kidney disease/diuretics.
