Important Warnings

Not recommended in pregnancy; contraindicated/avoid if pregnant due to risk of fetal harm. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during treatment and for a period after the last dose as advised; men should use contraception as advised. Use with caution in liver impairment, kidney impairment, gout or high uric acid; monitor liver function and uric acid if prescribed. Seek urgent help for signs of allergy, severe rash, yellowing of eyes/skin, or worsening breathing symptoms.

Drug Interactions

Favihope 400 Tab may interact with the following:

Pyrazinamide (may increase uric acid)
theophylline (may increase favipiravir exposure)
repaglinide (increased repaglinide levels/hypoglycaemia risk)
other hepatotoxic drugs (additive liver enzyme elevation)
probenecid or drugs affecting renal tubular transport (potential effect on levels)
