Favipiravir (400mg)
Treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults (as per local guidelines/physician prescription); antiviral therapy for influenza has been studied/approved in some countries but use depends on regulatory guidance.
Favipiravir is an antiviral that is converted inside cells to an active form which inhibits viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. This blocks viral RNA replication and reduces viral multiplication.
Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor; swallow whole with water, with or without food. Maintain adequate hydration and complete the full course; do not self-medicate for viral fever/COVID without medical advice.
