What is Fusiwal B Cream 15GM used for?

Treatment of bacterial skin infections caused by susceptible organisms (especially staphylococci)
such as impetigo
infected eczema/dermatitis
infected cuts/wounds
folliculitis and boils.

How Fusiwal B Cream 15GM Works

Fusidic acid is a topical antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking the elongation factor (EF-G) involved in translation. This stops growth of susceptible bacteria and helps clear skin infection.

Dosage & Directions

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer 2-3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Use for the prescribed duration; avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open mucosa. Can be used with or without a light dressing if advised.
