Known side effects of Gliben 3MG Tab include Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), dizziness, headache, nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, weight gain, skin rash/itching. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Risk of hypoglycaemia—more likely if meals are skipped, after strenuous exercise, with alcohol, in elderly, or with kidney/liver impairment. Monitor blood glucose regularly. Use with caution in renal/hepatic disease; dose adjustments may be needed. Inform doctor if you have sulfonylurea/sulfonamide allergy, G6PD deficiency (risk of haemolysis), or if you are fasting/ill. Seek urgent care for severe hypoglycaemia, jaundice, unusual bruising/bleeding, or allergic reactions. Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
