How Glicstart MR 60 Tab Works

Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels. This increases insulin secretion and helps lower blood glucose, particularly after meals. The modified-release formulation provides a gradual effect over the day.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet (modified-release). Usually taken once daily with breakfast; swallow whole with water—do not crush, split, or chew. Take at the same time daily; dose is individualized by the doctor based on blood glucose/HbA1c.
