What is Glipesta 20MG Tab used for?

Type 2 diabetes mellitus: to improve glycaemic control as an adjunct to diet and exercise
alone or with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.

How Glipesta 20MG Tab Works

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). This enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reduces glucagon release, lowering blood glucose with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet. Common adult dose is 20 mg once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Dose and add-on therapy should be as advised by a doctor; do not stop abruptly.
