What is Glyvas 10MG Tab used for?

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (to help control blood glucose)
usually as an add-on to diet and exercise; may be used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.

How Glyvas 10MG Tab Works

Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). This enhances glucose-dependent insulin release and reduces glucagon secretion, lowering blood sugar with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew unless advised. Continue diet/exercise and monitor blood glucose as directed.
