Glimepiride 2 mg + Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg + Voglibose 0.2 mg (tablet)
Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when blood sugar is not adequately controlled with diet, exercise and single/dual therapy; helps control post-meal and fasting glucose.
Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) increases insulin release from the pancreas. Metformin improves insulin sensitivity and decreases glucose production by the liver. Voglibose delays carbohydrate absorption in the gut to reduce post-meal blood sugar spikes.
Take by mouth as prescribed, usually once or twice daily with meals (typically with the first bite of food) to reduce stomach upset and low sugar risk. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew unless advised. Follow diet/exercise plan and monitor blood glucose regularly.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Jubiglim Mv 2MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Risk of hypoglycaemia (more likely with missed meals, excess exercise, alcohol, elderly, kidney/liver impairment); carry glucose. Metformin may rarely cause lactic acidosis—seek urgent care for rapid breathing, severe weakness, abdominal pain, unusual sleepiness. Avoid in severe renal impairment; dose adjustment/monitoring needed in kidney disease and elderly. Use caution in liver disease, heart failure, dehydration and during acute illness. Temporarily stop metformin before/after iodinated contrast procedures or major surgery as advised. Monitor HbA1c, renal function, vitamin B12 with long-term use.
