Type 2 diabetes mellitus (adult) to help control high blood sugar
as monotherapy with diet/exercise or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines (e.g.

How K-Glim 2MG Tab Works

Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels. Increased insulin helps lower blood glucose levels, especially after meals.

Dosage & Directions

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. Swallow tablet with water; do not skip meals to reduce risk of low blood sugar. Dose adjustments are based on blood glucose/HbA1c and kidney/liver function.
