Important Warnings

Prescription-only antibiotic; use only for bacterial infections. Do not use if allergic to penicillins/cephalosporins or if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate–associated jaundice/hepatic dysfunction. Use with caution in liver disease, severe kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed), infectious mononucleosis (rash risk), and in patients with a history of colitis. Seek urgent care for severe allergy (swelling, breathing difficulty), severe/persistent diarrhoea, or signs of liver injury (yellowing of eyes/skin, dark urine).

Drug Interactions

Laticlav 625MG Tab may interact with the following:

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (increased bleeding risk/INR changes)
methotrexate (increased toxicity)
probenecid (increases amoxicillin levels)
allopurinol (increased rash risk)
mycophenolate mofetil (reduced active metabolite levels)
oral contraceptives (reduced reliability possible—use backup if significant vomiting/diarrhoea)
