What is Losar H Tablet used for?

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
especially when single-drug therapy is inadequate; helps reduce risk of stroke in certain patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy (as advised by doctor).

How Losar H Tablet Works

Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking AT1 receptors, lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that increases urine output to reduce fluid and salt load, further lowering blood pressure.

Dosage & Directions

Take by mouth as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice. Your doctor may monitor BP, kidney function and electrolytes.
