Important Warnings

Risk of severe liver injury and pancreatitis—seek urgent care for severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, dark urine or unusual tiredness. Can cause birth defects and developmental disorders; avoid in pregnancy unless clearly needed and under specialist advice. Monitor liver function and blood counts as advised; caution in patients with liver disease, bleeding disorders, or history of pancreatitis.
