Known side effects of Mucopex D Suspension include Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, rash. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Use with caution in patients with gastric/duodenal ulcer, asthma/bronchospasm, liver or kidney impairment. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty) occur. Not recommended for self-medication in children, during pregnancy, or if cough persists >7 days, is accompanied by fever, wheeze, breathlessness, or blood in sputum—consult a doctor. Do not combine with cough suppressants unless prescribed.

Cough suppressants (codeine/dextromethorphan) may reduce mucus clearance; certain antibiotics (e.g.
amoxicillin
cefuroxime
erythromycin
doxycycline) are generally compatible; consult doctor for combination use; alcohol may worsen dizziness/胃 irritation depending on formulation.
