Nebivolol (2.5mg)
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); may also be prescribed to reduce cardiovascular risk as advised by a doctor.
Nebivolol is a highly selective beta-1 blocker that lowers heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, thereby decreasing blood pressure. It also enhances nitric oxide–mediated vasodilation, helping relax blood vessels.
Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Nebicard 2.5 Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Do not stop abruptly (may worsen angina/arrhythmias). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask hypoglycaemia symptoms), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, and in patients with slow pulse/heart block. Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, second/third-degree AV block (without pacemaker), cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure, severe liver impairment. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly.
