Known side effects of Olmesat 20 include dizziness, headache, fatigue, low blood pressure, increased potassium (hyperkalemia), nausea, diarrhea, back pain. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Not recommended in pregnancy (can harm the unborn baby); stop and consult a doctor if pregnancy occurs. Use caution in kidney disease, liver impairment, dehydration/volume depletion, and in patients with high potassium; periodic monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and serum potassium is advised. Rare: severe sprue-like enteropathy (chronic diarrhea/weight loss) has been reported with olmesartan—seek medical advice if persistent diarrhea occurs. May cause dizziness—use caution while driving.
ACE inhibitors or aliskiren (increased risk of kidney problems/hyperkalemia; avoid especially in diabetes)
NSAIDs (e.g.
ibuprofen
diclofenac) may reduce antihypertensive effect and worsen kidney function
lithium (increased lithium levels/toxicity)
other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering).
