Important Warnings
Schedule H: use under medical supervision. Long-term use may increase risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium, bone fractures, and gastrointestinal infections (e.g., C. difficile). Use caution in severe liver disease. If on prolonged therapy, periodic review and lowest effective dose are recommended.
