Important Warnings

Use with caution in kidney stones, severe renal impairment, hypercalcaemia, hyperparathyroidism, or sarcoidosis. Excess intake may cause high calcium levels (thirst, frequent urination, confusion). Avoid taking multiple calcium/vitamin D products together unless prescribed. Consult doctor for children, pregnancy/lactation, or if on long-term therapy.

Drug Interactions

Ostocalcium Tab may interact with the following:

Levothyroxine (reduced absorption)
tetracyclines and quinolones (reduced antibiotic absorption)
bisphosphonates (reduced absorption)
iron salts (reduced absorption)
thiazide diuretics (risk of hypercalcaemia)
digoxin (arrhythmia risk with hypercalcaemia)
anticonvulsants and corticosteroids (may reduce vitamin D effect)
