Known side effects of S-Citadep 10MG Tab include Nausea, headache, dry mouth, dizziness, sleepiness, insomnia, increased sweating, diarrhea or constipation, fatigue, decreased appetite, sexual dysfunction (reduced libido/delayed ejaculation). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings

Prescription medicine. May increase risk of suicidal thoughts/behavior especially in young adults early in treatment or during dose changes—seek help for worsening mood, agitation, self-harm thoughts. Do not use with MAO inhibitors, linezolid or IV methylene blue; allow adequate washout. Risk of serotonin syndrome (agitation, fever, tremor, diarrhea) especially with other serotonergic drugs. Can cause QT prolongation—use caution in heart rhythm problems, low potassium/magnesium, or with QT-prolonging medicines. May cause hyponatremia (especially elderly/diuretics) and increased bleeding risk (with NSAIDs/anticoagulants). Avoid abrupt discontinuation due to withdrawal symptoms. Use caution in bipolar disorder (may trigger mania), seizures, liver impairment.

anticoagulants/antiplatelets/NSAIDs (bleeding risk)
QT-prolonging drugs (e.g.
amiodarone
sotalol
certain antipsychotics/macrolides)
CYP2C19 inhibitors (e.g.
omeprazole/esomeprazole) may increase escitalopram levels
alcohol/CNS depressants (additive sedation).
