Scabicidal lotions kill the mites (Sarcoptes scabiei) responsible for scabies and help relieve itching by reducing infestation and skin inflammation. Exact mechanism depends on the active ingredient(s) in the lotion.

For external use only. Apply as directed by a doctor to clean, dry skin (usually from neck to toes), including skin folds and under nails; leave on for the prescribed duration, then wash off.
