Treatment of scabies and associated itching; may also be used for head/body lice if prescribed.

Scabicidal lotions kill the mites (Sarcoptes scabiei) responsible for scabies and help relieve itching by reducing infestation and skin inflammation. Exact mechanism depends on the active ingredient(s) in the lotion.

For external use only. Apply as directed by a doctor to clean, dry skin (usually from neck to toes), including skin folds and under nails; leave on for the prescribed duration, then wash off. Treat close contacts if advised and wash/heat-dry clothes, bedding and towels. Avoid eyes, mouth and broken skin.

Burning or stinging, itching, redness, dryness, irritation, rash

Do not use on eyes, mouth or mucous membranes. Use with caution on inflamed/broken skin; may cause irritation. In children, elderly, and during pregnancy/lactation, use only on medical advice. Persistent itching can continue for 2–4 weeks after successful treatment; seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.

No major interactions expected with topical use; avoid concurrent application with other irritating topical products (e.g., strong soaps, alcohol-based products, keratolytics) unless advised.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
