Known side effects of Selotol XL 25 Tab include Tiredness, dizziness, slow heart rate (bradycardia), low blood pressure, headache, nausea, cold hands/feet, sleep disturbances. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Do not stop abruptly (may worsen angina/trigger rebound hypertension). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms), peripheral vascular disease, thyroid disorders, depression, liver impairment. Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, 2nd/3rd degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure unless stabilized. Monitor BP and pulse regularly.

digoxin (bradycardia)
antiarrhythmics like amiodarone (conduction issues)
clonidine (rebound hypertension if stopped improperly)
NSAIDs (may reduce BP-lowering effect)
CYP2D6 inhibitors like fluoxetine/paroxetine/quinidine (increase metoprolol levels)
insulin/oral antidiabetics (mask hypoglycemia).
