What is Sevalac 800MG Tab used for?

Used to control high blood phosphate (hyperphosphatemia) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD)

How Sevalac 800MG Tab Works

Sevelamer is a non-absorbed phosphate-binding polymer. It binds dietary phosphate in the gut and prevents its absorption, thereby lowering serum phosphate levels in CKD.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet for oral use. Take with meals as prescribed by the doctor; swallow whole with water (do not crush or chew unless advised). Dose is individualized based on serum phosphate and dietary phosphate intake.
