Known side effects of Siglifoz 10MG Tab include Genital fungal infection, urinary tract infection, increased urination, thirst, dizziness, low blood pressure, hypoglycaemia (when used with insulin/sulfonylureas), nausea. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings

Not for type 1 diabetes. Risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (can occur even with near-normal sugars); seek urgent care for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rapid breathing, confusion. Can cause dehydration/low BP—use caution in elderly, diuretic users, low BP. Genital infections and rare necrotizing fasciitis (Fournier’s gangrene) reported—seek care for genital/perineal pain/swelling/fever. Monitor kidney function; may be ineffective at low eGFR and may need discontinuation as per guidelines. Hold before major surgery/acute illness (sick-day rules) as advised by doctor.
