Important Warnings

May cause dizziness/fainting especially after the first dose or dose increases—rise slowly and avoid driving until you know the effect. Use with caution in low blood pressure, severe liver disease, and severe kidney impairment. Tell your eye surgeon before cataract/glaucoma surgery (risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome). Seek urgent help for allergic reaction or prolonged painful erection (priapism). Not for use in women and children unless specifically prescribed.

Other alpha-blockers (prazosin
terazosin
doxazosin)
PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil
tadalafil) and other antihypertensives (additive low BP)
strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole
ritonavir
clarithromycin) and CYP2D6 inhibitors (paroxetine) may increase levels
cimetidine may increase levels
furosemide may reduce levels
