What is TEBINA 500MG TAB used for?

Treatment of fungal infections of skin and nails such as onychomycosis (fungal nail infection)
tinea corporis (ringworm)

and other dermatophyte infections as prescribed.

How TEBINA 500MG TAB Works

Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits squalene epoxidase, blocking ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes. This leads to toxic accumulation of squalene and results in fungal cell death, especially against dermatophytes.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet is taken by mouth exactly as prescribed. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day. Duration depends on site and severity (skin infections usually weeks; nail infections often longer). Do not stop early without medical advice.
