Telemar 40 H — Side Effects & Warnings

• Dizziness
• headache
• fatigue
• increased urination
• low blood pressure
• nausea
• muscle cramps
• increased blood uric acid
• electrolyte imbalance (low sodium/low potassium)
• increased creatinine

Telemar 40 H may interact with the following:

• ACE inhibitors or aliskiren (increased risk of kidney impairment
• high potassium
• low BP—avoid especially in diabetes)
• potassium supplements/potassium-sparing diuretics (risk of high potassium)
• NSAIDs (may reduce BP effect and worsen kidney function)
• lithium (increased lithium toxicity)
• other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering)
• diuretics/corticosteroids (electrolyte disturbances)
• antidiabetic medicines (may alter glucose control)
• digoxin (electrolyte changes may increase arrhythmia risk)

Always tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
