Important Warnings
Not for use in pregnancy (can harm unborn baby). Use caution in kidney disease, liver disease, dehydration/low BP, heart failure, aortic stenosis, and in elderly patients. Monitor kidney function and potassium (telmisartan may increase potassium). Seek help for severe dizziness/fainting, facial swelling/allergic reaction, or very low BP.

Potassium supplements/salt substitutes
potassium-sparing diuretics (e.g.
spironolactone)
ACE inhibitors or aliskiren (avoid especially in diabetes)
NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac) may reduce effect and affect kidneys
lithium (toxicity risk)
other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering)
strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase amlodipine levels
