What is Telmiget H Tab used for?

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
especially when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular complications associated with uncontrolled BP.

How Telmiget H Tab Works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II, lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that increases salt and water excretion via the kidneys, reducing blood volume and BP. Together they provide additive blood pressure control.

Dosage & Directions

Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow tablet with water. Maintain adequate hydration; avoid self-adjusting dose and do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
