What is Telmiride Am Tab used for?

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
especially when single-drug therapy is not adequate; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events like stroke and heart attack by controlling BP.

How Telmiride Am Tab Works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that widens blood vessels by reducing calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle. Together they lower blood pressure more effectively than either medicine alone.

Dosage & Directions

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice. Monitor blood pressure regularly.
