Known side effects of TELSAR 40MG include Dizziness, headache, fatigue, back pain, diarrhoea, nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, low blood pressure (hypotension), increased potassium (hyperkalaemia). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings

Potassium supplements/salt substitutes and potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone
eplerenone
amiloride) may increase hyperkalaemia risk; NSAIDs (ibuprofen
diclofenac) may reduce antihypertensive effect and worsen kidney function; lithium may increase toxicity; other antihypertensives/diuretics may cause excessive hypotension; ACE inhibitors or aliskiren (especially in diabetes/renal impairment) increase risk of kidney problems
hyperkalaemia and hypotension.

Always tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
