Known side effects of Telvo 80MG Tab include dizziness, headache, fatigue, low blood pressure, nausea, diarrhoea, back pain, increased potassium (hyperkalaemia), raised creatinine. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy—can harm the unborn baby. Use caution in kidney disease, liver impairment, dehydration/low salt states, heart failure, and in elderly. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function and serum potassium, especially after starting or dose changes. Risk of hyperkalaemia; avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless advised. Not recommended with aliskiren in diabetics; use caution with bilateral renal artery stenosis.
Drug Interactions
Telvo 80MG Tab may interact with the following:
ACE inhibitors (e.g.
enalapril/ramipril)
aliskiren
potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone/amiloride)
NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac) may reduce effect and worsen kidney function
lithium (increased toxicity)
diuretics (may increase first-dose hypotension)
