What is Terfine 250 used for?

Treatment of fungal infections such as onychomycosis (fungal nail infection)
tinea corporis (ringworm)
tinea cruris (jock itch) and tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) when systemic therapy is required.

How Terfine 250 Works

Terbinafine is an antifungal (allylamine) that inhibits the enzyme squalene epoxidase in fungi. This blocks ergosterol synthesis and leads to buildup of toxic squalene, causing fungal cell death.

Dosage & Directions

Take orally as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day and swallow with water. Duration depends on site of infection (skin typically weeks; nail infections often several weeks to months); do not stop early without medical advice.
