Important Warnings

Not for weight loss/obesity treatment. Overdose or excessive dosing can cause hyperthyroid symptoms and serious heart problems. Use caution in elderly patients and those with coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, or adrenal insufficiency (treat adrenal insufficiency first). Dose adjustments may be needed in pregnancy, after delivery, with major weight changes, or when starting/stopping interacting medicines; monitor TSH/T4. Seek urgent care for chest pain, severe palpitations, shortness of breath, or fainting.
