Important Warnings

Use only under medical supervision. Not suitable for non-cholesterol gallstones, calcified gallstones, acute gallbladder inflammation, biliary obstruction, or non-functioning gallbladder. Monitor liver function tests; response for gallstones may take months. Use caution in severe liver disease, pancreatitis, or if symptoms worsen; stop and seek care if severe diarrhoea occurs. May affect absorption of some medicines.

Drug Interactions

URSOBILE 300 TAB may interact with the following:

Bile acid sequestrants (cholestyramine/colestipol) and antacids containing aluminium reduce absorption (separate by 2–4 hours)
ciclosporin (levels may change)
estrogens/oral contraceptives and clofibrate may increase gallstone formation
certain lipid-lowering agents may reduce effect
