Important Warnings

Use only under medical supervision. Not suitable for calcified (radio-opaque) gallstones, non-functioning gallbladder, acute gallbladder/bile duct inflammation, or biliary obstruction unless advised by a specialist. Monitor liver function tests during therapy. Use with caution in severe liver disease, pancreatitis, or persistent diarrhoea. Seek care for severe abdominal pain, jaundice worsening, or allergic reactions.

Drug Interactions

Ursopack Tab 15S may interact with the following:

Bile acid sequestrants (cholestyramine/colestipol) reduce absorption; aluminium-containing antacids/sucralfate may reduce effect; ciclosporin levels may change (monitor); oestrogens/oral contraceptives and lipid-lowering agents like clofibrate may increase gallstone risk; warfarin/anticoagulants—monitor INR if used together
