Type 2 diabetes mellitus (to improve glycaemic control) as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines (e.g.
metformin
sulfonylurea
insulin) along with diet and exercise.

How Vilbetes 50MG Tab Works

Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). This enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reduces glucagon release, helping lower blood glucose with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually once or twice daily. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day and continue diet/exercise plan. Do not double the dose if a dose is missed.
