Known side effects of Volibose 0.2 Tab include Flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, bloating, nausea, constipation, increased liver enzymes (rare). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
For type 2 diabetes only; not for diabetic ketoacidosis or type 1 diabetes. Use with caution in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal obstruction/ulceration, chronic intestinal diseases, severe renal impairment, or liver disease. Risk of hypoglycaemia increases when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas—treat low sugar with glucose (dextrose) rather than sucrose/table sugar. Monitor blood glucose and, if advised, liver enzymes.
Drug Interactions

Insulin
sulfonylureas and other antidiabetics (increased hypoglycaemia risk)
intestinal adsorbents (e.g.
activated charcoal) and digestive enzyme preparations (may reduce effect)
other drugs that can affect glycaemic control (e.g.
corticosteroids
thiazide diuretics
thyroid hormones)
