What is Vomiset O 4MG Tab used for?

Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting (antiemetic)
including chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)
radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
and postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV).

How Vomiset O 4MG Tab Works

Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT3 (serotonin) receptor antagonist. It blocks serotonin receptors in the gut and in the brain’s vomiting center/chemoreceptor trigger zone, reducing nausea and vomiting.

Dosage & Directions

Take as directed by a doctor. Tablet is usually taken with or without food; swallow with water. For prevention, it may be taken before chemotherapy/radiotherapy or before anesthesia; for treatment, take at onset as prescribed.
