How Wosulin 50/50 40IU Works
This is a premixed human insulin containing short-acting regular insulin and intermediate-acting NPH insulin. Regular insulin covers rise in glucose after meals, while NPH provides basal control for several hours to maintain glucose levels between meals and overnight.
Dosage & Directions
For subcutaneous injection only, as prescribed by the doctor. Usually injected 30 minutes before meals; timing and dose depend on blood sugar, diet and activity.
