How ZURIG 40 TAB Works
Febuxostat is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It reduces formation of uric acid in the body, thereby lowering serum urate levels and helping prevent urate crystal deposition and gout attacks over time.
Dosage & Directions
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily, with or without food. Continue regularly even if you feel well; gout flare prophylaxis (e.g., colchicine/NSAID) may be advised when starting. Do not use to treat an acute gout attack.
