Risk of serious/life-threatening bleeding—seek urgent care for severe headache, weakness, coughing/vomiting blood, black stools, heavy menstrual bleeding, or any unusual bleeding. Requires regular INR monitoring and dose adjustments. Inform doctor before any surgery/dental procedure; may need temporary stoppage/bridging. Maintain consistent dietary vitamin K intake (avoid sudden changes in green leafy vegetables); avoid OTC NSAIDs/aspirin unless advised. Use caution in liver/kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, history of bleeding, peptic ulcer, alcoholism, elderly. Contraindicated in active bleeding, severe bleeding disorders, recent major surgery with high bleeding risk, and known hypersensitivity.
