Bisacodyl is a stimulant laxative that increases bowel movements by stimulating the intestinal wall and increasing fluid secretion. Rectal administration provides relatively quick local action.

For rectal use only. Insert one suppository into the rectum as directed by a doctor. Ensure age-appropriate use; effect usually within 15-60 minutes.

Abdominal cramps, diarrhea, nausea, rectal irritation

Use only under adult supervision and medical advice in children. Do not use in suspected intestinal obstruction, severe abdominal pain, dehydration, or acute inflammatory bowel conditions. Avoid prolonged use to prevent electrolyte imbalance.

Diuretics/corticosteroids (low potassium risk), Digoxin (risk with hypokalemia), Other laxatives (diarrhea/dehydration)
