How It Works
Levothyroxine is synthetic T4 thyroid hormone that is converted to active T3 in tissues. It restores normal thyroid hormone levels, improving metabolism, energy, and temperature regulation.
Directions for Use
Take once daily on an empty stomach with water, preferably in the morning 30-60 minutes before breakfast. Take at the same time daily and avoid taking with calcium/iron/antacids; keep a 4-hour gap. Dose is individualized based on TSH levels.

Warnings & Precautions
Overdose may cause hyperthyroidism symptoms and increase risk of arrhythmia and bone loss. Use caution in heart disease, elderly, adrenal insufficiency, and untreated thyrotoxicosis. Regular TSH monitoring is needed; do not switch brands or stop abruptly without medical advice.
Drug Interactions
Calcium salts, iron salts, antacids containing aluminium/magnesium, sucralfate, cholestyramine/colestipol, orlistat, rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, sertraline, warfarin (may increase effect), antidiabetic medicines (dose adjustment may be needed)
