What is Afung 200MG Caps used for?

Treatment of fungal infections such as vaginal candidiasis
oral/esophageal candidiasis (thrush)
systemic candidiasis
cryptococcal meningitis
and other susceptible fungal infections as prescribed.

How Afung 200MG Caps Works

Fluconazole is a triazole antifungal that inhibits fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme (14-alpha-demethylase), blocking ergosterol synthesis. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane and inhibits growth/kills susceptible fungi.

Dosage & Directions

Capsule for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; take at the same time each day and complete the full course.
