Fluconazole 200 mg (capsule)
Treatment of fungal infections such as vaginal candidiasis, oral/esophageal candidiasis (thrush), systemic candidiasis, cryptococcal meningitis, and other susceptible fungal infections as prescribed.
Fluconazole is a triazole antifungal that inhibits fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme (14-alpha-demethylase), blocking ergosterol synthesis. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane and inhibits growth/kills susceptible fungi.
Capsule for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; take at the same time each day and complete the full course.
