Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v + Dexamethasone 0.1% w/v ophthalmic solution
Treatment of bacterial eye infections with associated inflammation, such as bacterial conjunctivitis/blepharitis; used when a corticosteroid is indicated along with an antibiotic.
Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, stopping bacterial replication. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by suppressing inflammatory mediators, thereby decreasing redness, swelling and pain.
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Apdrops Duo 0.5%/0.1% Eye Drops. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Use only for bacterial eye infections; do not use for viral/fungal eye infections unless advised. Prolonged steroid use may increase intraocular pressure, cause glaucoma/cataract, delay wound healing, and increase risk of secondary infections—use for the shortest duration prescribed. Use with caution in patients with glaucoma, corneal thinning/ulceration, or history of steroid response. Stop and seek medical help if severe pain, vision changes, swelling/rash, or worsening symptoms occur. Do not wear contact lenses during an active eye infection unless advised.
