Apdrops Lp Eye Drops contains Loteprednol etabonate (0.5% w/v) + Moxifloxacin (0.5% w/v). Prescription required.

Treatment of bacterial eye infections with associated inflammation (e.g., bacterial conjunctivitis, postoperative ocular inflammation when infection risk is present).

Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that kills susceptible bacteria by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Loteprednol is a corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and pain by suppressing inflammatory mediators in the eye.

For ophthalmic use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as advised by a doctor, usually 3–4 times daily. Wash hands, avoid touching the dropper tip, and keep eyes closed for 1–2 minutes after instillation; if using other eye medicines, keep a 5–10 minute gap. Use with or without food; remove contact lenses before use and reinsert only if advised.

Use only under ophthalmologist supervision as it contains a steroid. Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure, cause glaucoma/cataract, delay healing or worsen infections (especially viral/fungal/herpetic). Seek urgent care for severe eye pain, worsening redness, vision changes, or no improvement. Do not use in known hypersensitivity to components. Avoid contact lens use during active infection unless advised. Use for the prescribed duration; do not share eye drops.

Other topical ophthalmic medicines (separate by 5–10 minutes). Concomitant use with other corticosteroids may increase steroid-related adverse effects; medicines that raise intraocular pressure may add risk. Significant systemic interactions are unlikely with ocular use.

Store below 25°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep bottle tightly closed and use within 4 weeks of opening or as per label. Keep out of reach of children.
